Mega carved her pumpkin with daddy again. Here she is with the finished product in her costume: she dressed as a boy this year.
We had the Petty family and the Shaw family over for the day. All of the girls dressed as boys, we also had a nerd, a football player and an army man. Of course, all of the dads took them trick or treating while the moms stayed in the warmth, drinking hot cider and watching "The Ghost of A. Chance" (my fav Dick Van Dyke for Halloween!).
Some things change from year to year (like the people we trick or treat with) and some things never change (like the front of our house on Halloween: carved pumpkins, orange lights and a 'Trick of Treat if you dare' sign that Lauren made many years ago).
The LOOT! I so do not approve! Too much sugar . . . among other things!!
