Wow babe...Your writing always moves me. Love you!

You share more than anyone I know. I LOVE reading all your heart! Love & many tight hugs to you, my friend

Great idea about posting the picture. I should have thought of that!! Anyway, went back and put the pic in for all to see. It did turn out beautiful! I love that you enjoyed the imagery ...... thanks for reading!

Glad you know some the history behind your scarf now. No promises regarding that size M request....

Thanks for stopping by, Phyllis, and for taking the time to comment. I appreciate it.

Thanks for reading, Lori! Sort of makes me want to knit too.

Absolutely beautiful. Love the imagery--can see the tasty oatmeal fisherman's color, and the shadowy forest floor--and your breath tripping over your awe. Let's have picture of beautiful Julie in her entrelac stole when it's done. (I'll have to go look that up!)

What a wonderful essay Julie!! I didn't realize you were knitting to 'cope' when you made the beautiful scarf for me last year and that makes it all the more precious to me. I was 'coping' with your diagnosis when I was crocheting the shawl I gave you last year. Learning to cope is so very hard and you've found a good start in the right direction. Soon there will be something else you will do to help you cope and then something else and so it goes. As long as you're coping with knitting, I would really like a colorful sweater like the one you had on the other day... in size M...

Love you!!

I'm lost for words! Me? Yes, for you have said it all! You are ready to continue to be a constructive, worthwhile wife, mother, friend. Love, Phyllis

Wonderfully written, Julie. Beautifully lived. Made me want to knit.
